Dang It Dengue

The lab results came back today and Rebecca definitely has dengue 🙁

Although it sucks, it’s good to know for sure what is affecting her and how we can treat her and hopefully she’ll be well enough to travel back home on Monday morning as planned! I was also able to take her vital signs (supervised by Rebecca and Sarah) and it was good to see I wasn’t completely off which was encouraging!

Today we went shopping as it was Sarah’s first official day at the centre and she needed food. As did I because I had ran out of apples and I need my apple and peanut butter to survive…

I  haven’t done much else today except sit and read as I’ve been sleeping fairly terribly due to various reasons such as storms and migraines and the like so hopefully tonight I can get a proper nights rest!
I also worked out today that I only have 10 days left until I leave which is insane!! It’s going by so quickly but I feel that now I’m back from the beach I’m in the final stretch.
