Home Away From Home

Today Rebecca and I got out of the birthing centre to go to a nearby mall.

First place we went to was COSTA!! My home away from home <3 Was so cool to see it in another country – it even had a red telephone box in the corner!

We then went to a cute sushi bar where they played English music for us and gave us complementary drinks and I learned how to use chopsticks!!

We then decided to treat ourselves to a pedicure, as our feet are always out and it was so cheap to us compared to our home countries! Turns out that one of the women doing our pedicure was a patient at our birthing centre and is due very soon so we might be delivering her baby!

We got to and from the mall in another tricycle! They’re so much fun but we have to put cloths over our mouths as the pollution can be quite bad.

Today has been lovely and calm and I think my jet lag is getting a tiny bit better. I’m planning to go downstairs again tonight so I might be able to see another birth…who knows!
